How It Works
Getting to Know Each other
Please fill out my contact form and I’ll get back to you within 24 hours. We’ll set up a time for an introductory call to discuss your needs. These first few hours are FREE and do not obligate you to hire me. I prefer to use Google+ Hangouts or Skype for meetings because they provide the ability to meet face-to-face. During this initial call I’ll take some time to find out more about you, your photography style, and your business. I’m sure you’ll have questions for me as well. From there, I’ll put together a proposal of how I can help you!
Determining How Much Help You Need
After our first meeting I can give you an estimate of how many hours your projects might require. You can reserve my time in blocks of hours each month. For example, you can start with as little as 10 hours the first month. I’ll keep you up-to-date as we go along and let you know if I’m close to running out of time. You can always add on a few extra hours if needed or increase your budget the following month. Below is a chart with the time blocks and hourly rates.
When You’re Ready to Begin
I’ll send you a service agreement and a link to make a payment. All blocks of time must be paid in advance through PayPal. I’ll begin work after payment has been received. The service agreement is month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
Assigning Me Tasks
I will manage the work I do for you using BaseCamp. I will create a project site, and add you as a user. You’ll be able to log in to your project site, add tasks, documents, and so on. This is also where I’ll keep you informed of my progress and track the time I spend working for you.
It may be necessary to share sensitive information with me in the course of working with you. Please be assured that I will treat your private business and personal information with the greatest of care. Particularly sensitive items, such as usernames and passwords, will never be stored electronically. Should there come a time that our working relationship ends, any documentation with personal identifying information will be destroyed.
Reserving My Time
We’ll begin our working relationship with a FREE 2 Hour consultation. You may then reserve my time in blocks of 10, 20, 40 or 80 hours. Work will begin once payment is received. I encourage you to use all of the contracted hours within 30 days of the payment date.
Hiring me part-time is far less expensive than a full-time employee. Plus there are no employee-related taxes, insurance, benefits, or expenses. You only pay me for the hours you think you’ll need. There is no long-term commitment.

Over the past 20 years I’ve been a manager, teacher, an administrative assistant, an office manager, and an executive assistant to several C-level employees. Detailed, “Type-A”, kind of work has been a defining characteristic of my career. I thrive in situations where things just have to get done — and done right.
Diverse Skill Set
I have a diverse background that includes everything from creative writing, sales presentations, training materials, and business reports. I’ve managed large teams, full and part-time employees, student organizations, and hundreds of volunteers. I’ve created and managed six figure budgets, negotiated supply and service contracts, and served corporate executives. I have excellent written and oral communication skills that will be invaluable as I partner with you to create content for your business. I’ve created a wide variety of online content using Wikis, blogs, and content management systems, such as WordPress. I also know basic HTML and CSS, so I’m able to do most web updates.

I understand both the creative and business sides of photography. Being an amateur photographer myself, I know that finding time for your creative side can be challenging when there are so many other important business-related tasks that have to be done.
